Stephen Hawking, the greatest mind of our time, has passed away today, 14th March 2018. This day will forever remain as a dark day in the history of modern men. He was a great scientist and an extraordinary person whose work and legacy will live on for many years.
For most of us, he is known as the author of A Brief History of Time. But he was a lot more than that. His insights shaped the modern cosmology. His contributions includes the gravitational singularity theorems, the study of black holes, explaining cosmology & many more.
Though he was an eminent scientist, yet he had to struggle a lot due to his physical limitations. This struggle of him turned him in to an inspiration for millions.
Thousands of people, from astronauts to political leaders, from giant corporations to ordinary people, every one poured their heart in paying tribute to this iconic scientist. We tried to make a list of some of these tributes.
Remembering Stephen Hawking, a renowned physicist and ambassador of science. His theories unlocked a universe of possibilities that we & the world are exploring. May you keep flying like superman in microgravity, as you said to astronauts on @Space_Station in 2014 pic.twitter.com/FeR4fd2zZ5
