US Bangla aircraft crashed in Kathmandu

A passenger plane carrying 67 people crashed minutes before skidding off the runway in Kathmandu Tribhuvan airport. 76 seated US Bangla Airlines Flight BS211 from Dhaka was headed to Kathmandu this noon at 12.30 PM where the passengers included 37 males, 27 females & 2 children. According to The Daily Star, 17 people have been found alive so far though their condition is critically injured.

The black box is recovered. All the flights in and out of Tribhuvan International Airport have been canceled, according to local media. We haven’t found any statement from US Bangla airlines but it was assumable that the fire damage was done because of poorly maintained mechanical condition.
